Saturday, 2nd August
Arrive at Nice airport during the course of the morning, to be met by the crew of Leander. Limo transfer to the port of Antibes, where the yacht will await your arrival. Settle in on board and then depart for the Cap d’Antibes for lunch at anchor. Overnight in Antibes.
Sunday, 3rd August
Cruise to the Pampelonne beaches of St Tropez. Lunch on the beach at the famous Club 55, or the Voile Rouge, equally the more recent younger hipper Nikki Beach has become the palce to be and be seen in recent years. Afternoon enjoying the yacht’s water sports activities then anchor in front of the old port of St Tropez for the evening. Night in St Tropez. Dinner at the Byblos Hotel and dancing at Cave du Roi.
Monday, 4th August
Cruise back round to Cavalaire Bay for the day and return to St Tropez for the evening. Dinner on board and then set off on an overnight crossing to Calvi in Northern Corsica.
Tuesday, 5th August
Arrive in Calvi in time for breakfast. Go ashore to stretch your legs and visit this Northern Corsican seaside resort, with its beachfront bars and restaurants, all overlooked by a medieval Citadel. From Calvi, it is a short cruise to the stunning bay of La Girolata, where you can anchor for the night. La Bel Ombra has the best seafood for miles around with views over the red cliff encircled bay from the terrace adjacent to a Genovese watchtower.
Wednesday, 6th August
Take a trip to the tiny hamlet of Girolata, which can only be reached by mule – or boat!! Then cruise further south towards Ajaccio, a bustling, more cosmopolitan port, to spend the night. There are some top French Michelin starred restaurants in Napoleons old capital of Corsica.
Thursday, 7th August
Short cruise to Bonifacio at the southern tip of Corsica, where you can experience an amazing entrance into the harbour, sailing between high cliffs. Night in Bonifacio.
Friday, 8th August
Cruise towards the Emerald Coast of Sardinia, stopping on the way at the beautiful Lavezzi Islands for lunch and some time in the water. Spend the night at anchor at the Cala di Volpe, or in the marina at Porto Cervo. Night ashore enjoying this “playground of the rich and famous”! Overnight at anchor in Cala di Volpe or in the marina at Porto Cervo.
Saturday, 9th August
Enjoy another day in Porto Cervo or Cala di Volpe. The crew can arrange a round of golf or a personal tour of the designer boutiques for those who are interested. Alternatively you could spend the day exploring the Maddalena Islands. After dinner, an overnight crossing to Capri.
Sunday, 10th August
Arrive at Ponza island in the morning for a short break, then on to Capri for the evening. Evening in Capri.
Monday, 11th August
Spend the day exploring Capri, which is known as the Pearl of the Bay of Naples and is steeped in history. From the harbor, there is a funicular railway that takes you to Capri town, with its bustling, traffic-free street. Capri is, of course, famous for its jet set lifestyle, its excellent hotels, restaurants and shopping. The island also offers some of the most spectacular scenery from the sheer cliffs of Tiberius’s Leap to the Blue Grotto, both of which are spectacular. Dinner at the famous Hotel Il Quisisana.
Tuesday, 12th August
Short cruise to the Amalfi Coast on mainland Italy. Anchor in front of Amalfi and explore the winding streets and perhaps sample the famous lemon liqueur ‘Limoncello’ which is produced here. Continue on to Positano and enjoy dinner on the terrace of Il San Pietro hotel.
Wednesday, 13th August
Short cruise to Naples where your luxury mini-bus and private guide will be waiting to escort you to Pompeii for the day. Return to the yacht for dinner on board. Overnight crossing to the island of Elba.
Thursday, 14th August
Arrive in Elba late morning and spend some time exploring ashore. The port of Marina di Campo is worth a visit – it was founded by Napoleon during his short imprisonment. Set off in the early evening for an overnight passage to Portofino.
Friday, 15th August
Arrive in Portofino in the morning and go ashore to stretch your legs and enjoy this picturesque fishing village. Dinner on the terrace at the Hotel Splendido or right on the water where we recommend Strainer Restaurant. Overnight trip to the South of France.
Saturday, 16th August
Spend the day in Monaco, perhaps enjoying a round of golf, visiting the sumptuous spa (les Thermes de Monte Carlo) or indulging in some last minute shopping. Final dinner aboard or at one of the favorite restaurants in the Monaco area . Overnight in Monaco.
Sunday, 17th August
Either disembark in Monaco or cruise back to Antibes for disembarkation at yacht’s home port. Limo transfer to the airport for your flight home.
